Originally our plans were to go to Blanding for the weekend and spend some time with my family for the Easter holiday; however Indi acquired a very high temp that seemed impossible to keep down. At that point we didn't think it was a good idea to put her in the car for six and half hours! So our plans changed and we decided to go a different weekend. Friday, we continued to comfort Indi as best as we could, her fever went down slightly but her whimpering showed her prolonged discomfort. It's so hard for me to see her when she doesn't feel good...I always wish that there was more that I could do! By Saturday, Indianna seemed to be doing a little bit better. Since Eli wasn't working, we were able to get some projects done around the house, which is always nice! Indianna also received an Easter package in the mail from Grandma and Papa Carpenter. She got a nice Easter basket with lots of fun things...Thanks to Grandma and Papa!
We bought Indi her first Easter dress which she wore on Sunday; I could only get a few pictures, because with 8:30am church, there really isn't much time before church.
Later on Sunday Eli, Indi and I all went to Brian and Kristan's house to have a nice Easter dinner. After Indi took her nap, we all ate and the boys then hid eggs for Indi's first Easter egg hunt! We weren't sure what Indi would do exactly, but we gave her a quick run down on what her goal was. We set her down outside with her basket and waited to see if she knew what to do!
I guess this kind of thing comes natural to kids!
She was so proud of all the eggs she had found! Even though we were forced to change our plans and Indi got sick...we still had a fun Easter Weekend!

she looks super cute in her Easter dress, Cori! I'm so sorry she wasn't feeling well. Tripp is sick right now, he's running a temperature and has puked all morning :( It's the WORST thing, isn't it? There's not a whole lot you can do to comfort them and you heart just breaks to see them like that. I'm glad she's doing better. looks like you guys had a great Easter!!
Sorry that she got sick for Easter:( That is never fun. She looks so darn cute in her Easter dress and in the picture with her cool sunglasses:) Too cute! How fun that you guys had an Easter egg hunt, it looked like she had a lot of fun! I am glad you all still had fun, even though you couldnt make it to Blanding.

Sorry to hear that she's sick--its been a horrible respiratory infection season! Jack has had a cough/cold for over a month! She looks so cute in her Easter dress!

Indi looks so cute in her easter dress and with her basket. Too bad she got sick and couldn't make it to Blanding. Your mom and aunt suzanne went to visit my mom and dad and had a great time i hear. I hope that Indi feels better.

I don't know why, but I laughed watching the entire video of Indi collecting eggs- it was just so cute!! Sorry you guys didn't get to go to Blanding- that would have been a nice little gettaway for all of you! I was going to invite you to come to the pool last weekend- but they must've just turned off the heater cuz the water was FREEZING!! Maybe in another month it won't be so bad!
How cute is that!!! I love her Easter dress, its way cute!! I don't feel so bad for not being in Blanding for Easter now that I know you guys didn't end up going.:) I'm so sorry that Indi got sick though. I hope she's feeling better.

Hey Cori! For some reason the video is missing... maybe my computer is acting up? I will check back later cause I wanna see it! I can't wait to see how adorable your next baby is because Indi makes me smile every time I see her sweet little face!
