WOW!! Talk about having absolutely NO TIME for anything! We have been busy, busy the last month! I have actually had a little time to glance through some of your blogs... I feel like I am way out of the "blogging" loop! I would say my reasoning is somewhat legit... Isaiah has been "diagnosed" with colic since he was two weeks old! I can't even explain the emotional trauma we've all had to endure. It has been the hardest 4 weeks of my life with extreme screaming for hours and hours and nothing I do eases his suffering! We have tried anything and everything... gripe water, gas drops, colic tablets, colic massage, swaddling, bouncing, rocking, swinging, car rides, natural aroma baby heating pad, Dr. Browns bottles, I took out all dairy from my diet, we have tried a few different formulas... You name it, we've tried it! We finally found some formula that he seems to be doing better on... we are keeping our fingers crossed!! He had a really great day yesterday and a decent day so far today, which is why I am able to finally do a short post! Hopefully the endless days of crying (both him and me) will continue to decrease!
We were able to go to Blanding for the fourth which is always fun! We had a great time seeing all of our friends and family, we were truly sad to leave.
Thanks Sunny and Dad for making our stay fun! We all had a great time!
Here are Isaiah's weekly pictures!
I will try and be better about posting!! Also, thanks to all of you who commented on Isaiah's Birth Story Post... I really enjoyed reading what you all had to say!

Ok, Cori, if anyone knows what you're going through, it's me. And I just wanna say I am so so so sorry. Cash was BAD colic until he hit 3 months old. Everynight from 8-11 he would scream. scream until he couldnt breath. Tension was at an all-time high for us during this time. We always joke now that if we didn't get a divorce during that we never will. The only thing that seemed to work for us was turning on the vacuum. Seems wierd but the sound would drown out his crying and he would stop. we spent many night w/ the vacuum on for hours at a time. I totally know what it's like to not be able to leave the house or have any time to do anything else at night. Good luck! It WILL end.
Oh Cori you poor woman!! I remember when little Cash had colic and it was horrible on Tiff! There just isn't anything you can do and it SO emotionally exhausting!! Hang in there and remember that this too shall pass :) Those are some super cute picts of little Isaiah. looks like he's growing just right!!
Cori I'm so sorry! Maybe try like some lullabies. That helped christian sleep and calm down?? I dont know. Good luck! It was so fun seeing you guys last week. I felt bad that we didnt hang out more...but thats what happens when you have kids i guess. they come first:) Both kids are so cute!!
I'm so sorry about the colic! I've heard it is absolsutely horrible! Hopefully he'll continue to do better. Looks like you had a great time in Blanding!
That is so hard that he has colic! I am sure it takes a lot of the joy out of having a new baby! I really hope it gets better from here for you! Glad you updated!
Oh, goodness, girl. You will receive lots of blessings for your patience with a colicky baby. Heaven bless you for it!!! Glad that you had fun with your family during the 4th. It seems it was the year for EVERYONE to go back to Blanding for the 4th of July!
Yeah, I'm so glad that Isaiah gave you a chance to update the blog!! The 4th was so fun! I'm so glad that I was able to spend some time with you guys! It's been too long! I'm so glad to hear that Isaiah is feeling a little better(I hope that doesn't jinx it).:) I really hope things get better and you can just enjoy being a mommy with 2 very adorable kids!!
I'm sure things will get better soon. Hudson was like that, but he's not anymore- so it won't last forever, right?!?! :) Let me know if you want a break. If you are bottle feeding I will totally take him for a few hours so you can get a break!!!
Okay, I'm giving you the colic solution that worked for my brother 33 years ago... 1 Tablespoon of DARK Karo Syrup added to the bottom of the bottle. It was the ONLY thing that work. Sorry to have missed visiting with you in Blanding. Mike keeps promising me we'll go down for the 4th each year... We don't quite make it. He's starting to promise for next year... We'll see what happens!
Wow, You have been busy!! Sorry about little Isaiah:( That has to be very frustrating and hard. Hopefully he does do better on the formula that you are trying! I am glad that you guys had a fun fourth! You little Isaiah is such a cute little guy! Adorable just like his sis!
