Slacking once again!

All of you should know that there is typically only one reason I slack on updating my page... when I am deeply absorbed into a great book! Everything, besides taking care of Indi, gets put on hold when an interesting book comes along... laundry, dishes, blogging... etc. Well, I am finished and now I am back! I started the book "The Host" last week and couldn't put it down... another really good page turner from the author Stephenie Meyer, famous for her Twilight Series. This book can't really be compared to the Twilight books; it's just a good story in a different way! I highly enjoyed reading it and I continue to be fascinated by the imagination of Stephenie! She truly is a great writer! I would recommend this book to anyone. If any of you have already read it, I would like to know what you thought of it!

I didn't really love the twilight books, but maybe I'll give her a second chance and try these out!

You're almost finished....the baby is almost here!

My grandmother-in-law bought this for me for mother's day. I don't know when I'll read it, but I'll let you know how I like it.

I have the book waiting for me in Blanding at my mom's house. I will let you know after I read it! I'm sure it will only take me a few days if it is as good of reading as the Twilight series!

I finished the book on my trip to Omaha. Nothing will compare to Twilight but it was still good.

I've never read the Twilight books, but you guys all make them sound so good, that maybe I'll have to give them a try. If I'm not into draculas and vampires and stuff, will I hate it? I guess we'll see!
