Our 2007 Overview

Well of course I am stealing this idea from a few other neat blog pages, but I couldn't resist...I think it is such a great idea to really think about your previous year which can sometimes help set goals for the new year to come! Our 2007 year went by so fast and revolved mostly around Indianna's development. It was easier to think of the year by month (sorry it's kind of long):

January

I didn't plan on going back to work, thinking it would be impossible with a new baby, but my work needed me back to re-establish the Restorative Program (a physical therapy type of program) and they worked with my schedule and gave me a very nice pay raise. I was able to go to work when Eli got home to watch Indi (she was 2 1/2 months old at the time). It was hard but nice at the same time for a small break in the evenings.

February

Eli turned another year older: the big 33 (he'll kill me later for mentioning that!)

March

We put money down and signed papers on a new home in Maricopa

April

Indi turned a half a year old!! She started doing really well with solid foods at this point-very exciting!!

May

-A non-eventful month-

June

Eli and I had an amazing opportunity to go on an Alaskan Cruise with some of my family! It was a "no kids allowed" vacation which made it that much more fun! We still missed Indi greatly, but it's nice to have a break here and there! Brian and Kristan offered to watch Indi for the week--such great friends! We had a wonderful time and want to thank my dad again for taking care of all the arrangements!! We felt so lucky to be so fortunate!

I believe it was this month also that our new home was finally in the building process!

July

We finally found some great renters for our Condo! Platte and Heather came down for a visit in July to come and see the condo. They needed a place to stay while Platte attends Law School at ASU; I thought this would make a perfect arrangement. They have been great renters and we're glad they chose to stay there.

August

We moved out of our Condo and in with Eli's sister Mandy, so Platte and Heather could move in. We stayed with Mandy and Blake for about a month and a half until our house was finished...we had such a great time and it was so fun for Indi to be around her aunt and uncle! We terribly miss our Wii game nights with them.

I turned another year older-24! Some may think this is still young but I am really starting to feel old.

September

We were able to close and move in our new home in Maricopa!!! We waited patiently for so long, but it was worth the wait! We didn't need anything huge, just something bigger: 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and a great kitchen with an awesome wide open living room! Oh, we cannot forget about our wonderful garage which came with an extra four feet extension...so nice!

Indianna also, officially, started walking this month as well and I was able to quit my job and become a full-time Mommy!! We feel very fortunate!

October

This was a big month for us as well, Indianna turned 1 year old! We had a little party including Brian, Kristan, Christopher, Mandy and Blake; we all had a great time!! She got many cute things and really enjoyed her chocolate cupcake!

This was the month where we also found out that we were pregnant with baby #2! We are due in the beginning of June and are soooooo excited!

November

We went to Blanding for Thanksgiving and we had a great time seeing my family, especially Adrienne's kids Jett and Tenli! They have grown up so fast and I am excited to see the number of cousins continue to grow!

December

We flew to Colorado this year for Christmas and had a wonderful time seeing Eli's family! Again the cousins had a great time together and we are so excited to see them again!
